Building the Table: How VR Is Changing the Way We Gather
Tri Virtual Roundtable

People ask us how a conversation in virtual reality can feel real. Our answer is simple: a virtual room is still a room. And what happens in a room depends on the people in it, not the walls.
Presence Over Pixels
Flat video calls flatten people. You become a face in a box. But when you stand in a shared space, even a virtual one, something shifts. You turn toward each other. You take turns. You listen differently.
The Table Is the Point
We did not build the Tri Virtual Roundtable to show off technology. We built it to pull a chair up to the table for anyone, anywhere. VR just made the table bigger.
- Distance stops being a barrier.
- People who would never share a city can share a moment.
- The conversation, not the commute, becomes the center.
The tools will keep changing. The reason we gather will not.
